The Pirate Treasure | Pamphlet stitch
When I was a kid in Orange County, we spent time at Laguna Beach. This was before the beaches overrun by exclusive, gated communities. My dad would back from "a walk on the beach" with a pirate map (but I don't think pirates used legal paper...) We'd go out to the beach, look for a stick in the sand and there it would be buried...pirate gold (gold chocolate coins.)
We did the same thing with my first daughter. I captured in on film. The book tells the story of hunting for pirate treasure from her point of view.
