Photo Biography | Accordian book
Building an accordian book requires a lot of work, but the result is something everyone wants to play with. For this project I borrowed photographs from my (ex) mother-in-law. She lived in the Philippines during World War II, so her photography collection didn't begin until 1947. I scanned the images and built a story from 1947 to when she retired in 1997. The cover uses kozo paper. I printed the pages, cropped them and then bound them using adhesive tape. The book will expand to almost three feet.
